The idea of perfume suddenly reminds to the concepts of fluidity and softness to envelop the body with an ethereal aura of mystery and pleasure. These feelings are what we aimed to transfer into the concept for the new flagship space of Symrise brand in Shanghai, located in the iconic bright red landmark building by Jean Nouvel. An open and fluid working environment to socialize, smell, learn and discover, reflecting the researches and experiences of Symrise brand in the field of perfume and fragrances. A series of spots and installations are engaging the customers’ senses inviting them to move as if they were following a gallery path, with curve platforms for informal seating, rotating walls, installations to smell, and displays to interact with.
