The pop-up shop was intended as a temporary Instant Hutong station during BJDW. Blinking City is a project investigating the inadequacy of traditional maps for city environments characterized by fast pace transformation and urban growth. Blinking City patterns are based on collages of several Hutong neighborhoods of Beijing transferred onto interactive ever-changing lenticular discs that vary according to the movements of viewer. 这个临时店铺是受北京设计周之邀。闪烁城市是一个调查研究传统地图的不足之处，城市环境的快速转型和城市增长的特点的项目。闪烁城市的图案来自于对北京几条胡同布局图案的拼贴，将其印到光学三维变化闪卡上，从而能够根据观者的移动而变化。
